"The Never Lover Boy (NLB) music video was a blast to film! There’s nothing quite like shooting a video downtown on the rooftop of the newest, tallest building in a beautiful city like Cincinnati with a full band and a helicopter! Tiffany first approached me to film NLB (and several other videos for her new record “My Heart Is”) back in June of 2012, and after hearing this song, I knew I wanted it to be big, to go above and beyond anything we had done with her before. The trick was, how could we pull it off on the very limited budget we had? The answer: Cincinnati, Ohio. Given that I’m originally from Ohio, I had already established a number of connections that I knew could help us pull of this epic video on a miniscule budget. So, after nearly two months of preparation and calling up every high-rise building in Cincinnati, coordinating with the Cities of Cincinnati (OH) and Newport (KY), the Cincinnati Film Commission, the helicopter company, the FAA, local casting agencies and the corporate management of all of the 42-story building’s tenants; then hiring local crew, cast and band, and flying out east, everything finally fell into place. It would not have been possible without the help and support of many wonderful local people and companies. It may have been a lot of work, but we had a blast doing it and we couldn’t be happier of the results!" --JC Schroder, Director
