20th year of Tiffany Alvord

We'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Hopefully you'll have an amazing holiday with plenty of food and joy.

Also if you've missed it, let Tiffany tell you what she likes the most about Christmas in this Christmas Tag video.

2013 proved to be an incredible year for Tiffany. Already in January she headed out on her first tour, with Allstar Weekend and Cute Is What We Aim For. Over 20 performances in just over a month!

That was followed in March and April by her first headlining tour in south-east Asia. 4 shows in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. While Tiffany was in Singapore Demi Lovato was also performing there. On her way there some fans saw her and an unofficial meet and greet started. After a while the line was over a hundred people long! Security was coming and asking what was going on. They ended up “guarding” Tiffany for a while. This wasn't actually needed because unlike when Tiffany was in Singapore last year there was no mobbing. Everyone was very calm waiting in line. Eventually security had to attend the concert tho and they escorted Tiffany into the VIP session of the venue. You can watch the whole scenario on Youtube.

Barely did she get home from Asia before the next tour, this one she was headlining together with Jason Chen. They performed in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and San Diego. The first three shows was in just 3 days. Jason sang Happy Birthday to someone having a birthday at each of the shows. Back stage tickets was sold during this tour, granting up to 20 people the chance to hang out with Jason and Tiffany before the show, share a small dinner, talk, take pictures and see the sound check. It was very appreciated by all.

Sometimes the small things is what you remember the most. I'm gonna share a little personal anecdote. While in San Francisco Tiffany did something that I will probably always remember, something, that for me, defines Tiffany. Before the show, this was after the back stage session, while people were pouring in eager to see the concert. Everyone who had the back stage tickets were waiting in front of the stage to get their front-row position for the concert. In the middle of this Tiffany sneaked out to take a picture of the line. Inside again she made a Keek. It was after this Keek that a few people came up and asked to get a photo with Tiffany. Of course she agreed and she took pictures for around 10 minutes, and then decided she needed to get ready for her show. Some disappointed people wasn't going to get a photo with her. Halfway back stage she stops, says “I feel really bad for leaving them. Should I go back?“. Said and done, she turns around and go back for some more pictures until everyone is happy. This is who Tiffany is. She loves making others happy and if it's within her ability to do so, she will.

Time for a little break, but in July it was time again! This time Tiffany went to Europe for the first time ever. London was the lucky city. Two shows together with the London-girl Kim Alvord (no relation). There were also several other acts during the concerts. Half of the concert at the Hippodrome was streamed world-wide over StageIt. You can also see the official video below recorded by the promoter, FameStage.

While we haven't seen (almost) any new original music this year we have seen plenty of successful covers. Just Give Me A Reason by Pink with Trevor Holmes, Come & Get It by Selena Gomez with Chester See and Tyler Ward, Here's To Never Growing Up by Avril Lavigne was probably the favorite among existing fans, and Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke with Megan Nicole is all among the top videos of the year.
Of course we shouldn't forget all the other covers she recorded, there's a grand total of 22 of them, including more collaborations with Jon D, The Gardiner Sisters, Hollywood Ending, Clara C and Jason Chen.

I did say almost no originals tho, there was two music videos actually! So Alive, produced by YesStyle.com featuring several known faces such as Megan Nicole, Dave Days, Chester See, Tyler Ward and Jason Chen. And Never Lover Boy which was recording in Ohio, part of it on top of the tallest building in town. It was even in the CBS local news of Ohio.
And actually we did hear a completely new song as well, it was a rough version of a song she had just wrote called Walk Away. It was posted on her secondary channel. (It was later released on her album LEGACY in 2014.)

Well, how's that for just one year? You can't help but wonder what this next year is going to bring us. Among other things it's gonna bring us a new album! And with a new album there will be more tours, maybe a longer trip to Europe, maybe Australia or South America? Where do you want her to come? Let us know in the comments!
